To prove that a working sheepdog can become a competent trials competitor, Glyn Jones takes two very different dogs and their handlers through their paces. Shepherdess Donna Jones' dog, Zac, works daily with a large flock of sheep; in contrast, Marion Turner's Lynne is kept on a smallholding and works less often.

International Supreme Champion Glyn Jones assesses the handlers and encourages more positive commands. He helps them correct a number of common faults so that they can feel confident at the lift, on the drive and when penning. The demonstration is supported by useful graphics.

Glyn Jones is an international Supreme Champion Trialist and three times winner of the One Man and His Dog brace championships.

His training book, A Way of Life: Sheepdog Training, Handling and Trialling, has proved outstandingly popular.

"Take Time!" is the last of three DVDs by H Glyn Jones. The other titles are: "Come Bye! and Away!" and "That'll Do!".   |   More Info   |   Buy Now.
